Namaskara & welcome to Sukhinaḥ Yoga!
Sukhinaḥ (pronounced ‘sukeenaha’) is the Sanskrit for happiness. Sukhinaḥ Yoga’s sole goal is for each practitioner to leave every yoga session with a feeling of happiness, calmness, serenity and contentment.
The benefits from the techniques of asanas (yoga poses) and pranayama (breath control) to physical and mental health, the most basic steps to achieving permanent happiness, are widely accepted and acknowledged in today’s world.
I firmly believe we all need to have a positive attitude towards health, and that we should not wait for illness to occur; rather prevent it occurring. Practicing yoga can help you become healthier, more relaxed, content, stronger and self disciplined. It can give you greater vitality and optimism and help you to approach the problems of life in a more positive, creative way.
Yoga is the path, your body the vehicle, and your destination permanent happiness!
